1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoryCraft ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any services.

2. Intellectual Property & Ownership

You Own Your Work: We explicitly state and guarantee that the writer, team manager, or the entity they are assigned by retains 100% ownership of all intellectual property, copyrights, and rights to the screenplays, documents, notes, and creative materials created or uploaded using the Service.

3. AI Features & Data Training

StoryCraft integrates artificial intelligence tools to assist your writing process.

• No Training on Your Data: While we cannot make universal guarantees regarding the broader AI industry, we strictly only use AI models that, per their own terms and conditions, do not use customer data from paid 3rd-party platforms (like ours) for training their base models. Your scripts are never fed into public training datasets.
• AI Credit Usage: We provide AI tokens/credits as part of our subscription tiers. We have no direct control over how many tokens the underlying AI models will consume for any given query or response. Please note that AI credits apply to both the prompts (your input and context) and the generated output.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

All personal and team plans are pre-paid in advance. Access to premium features and AI tokens is granted upon successful payment of the subscription period (monthly or annually). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fall into arrears.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall StoryCraft, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, scripts, or other intangible losses, or business interruption, that result from the use of, or inability to use, this service. We strongly encourage you to maintain local backups of your scripts.

6. Service Availability

We strive to ensure high uptime and reliability; however, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy at any time without notice, but we will endeavor to provide as much notice as possible.
